Imagine your family waking up in the quiet jungle canopy that catches the pacific ocean air, surrounded by other families who are seeking connection to themselves, community and nature. Imagine your children playing in the tide pools together, taking family friendly yoga classes on the viewing deck, watching sunsets together over dinner, or learning Spanish together at the Montessori school down the road.This September and October 2025, Nomad Nest invites you to experience a two month co-living experience at Jungle land, where you’ll experience the highly sought after "pura vida" way in Costa Rica.
This experience is designed to help you feel like you're home away from home, and where each family member has the space to connect with others, rejuvenate, and experience how supportive it feels to connect with other families who share the same values.
About Jungleland
Jungleland is an eco-friendly, gated, jungle property consisting of a group of private villas and bungalows. It rests on top of a small mountain overlooking one of the top surfing beaches in the world. Located in Playa Hermosa, Puntarenas, Costa Rica, this location is central to all of the best activities and excursions that CR has to offer from beach to jungle.The property is a unique and perfect blend of private and shared spaces, spread out spaciously over a large piece of land. There are spacious suites perfect for families and equipped with air conditioning, multiple chefs kitchens, a private gym, two pools including a water slide, lots of gardens with fruit trees, and several cozy spots for dining, playing, and working.The neighborhood is a quiet part of the area perfect for playing or riding bikes, watching the cows graze, building rock towers in the river or visiting some of the yoga houses.5 minutes away there is an outdoor/indoor school Montessori/Waldorf school for ages 1-7, and another international school down the road for older children. Also in the area are several beaches, a farm and weekly farmers market, children's activities and play centers, plenty of shops, cafes, restaurants and more. What’s Included in the Co-Living Experience
Your Own Family Sanctuary: Every family will enjoy their own private space equipped with several beds, high ceilings, air-conditioning, and en-suite bathrooms.
Property Amenities: Wi-Fi, two pools, two large kitchens with plenty of space for private storage, an outdoor gym, two large platforms, fruit trees, several dining areas, and plenty of spaces for work, connection, and play.
Activities for All Ages: there’s something for everyone; hiking, swimming in the nearby river, exploring the tide pools, surfing, visits to the nearby dairy and cacao farms, butterfly and medicinal gardens, wildlife tours, ziplining, golf, dance classes, gymnastics, rock climbing, art classes and more.

Step 1: Share Your Interest & Join Nomad Nest. First let us know your family is interested in participating. Afterwards, you'll receive a short application to tell us about your family.
Step 2: Get Matched & Meet Your Group. We’ll review your application to build a balanced community. You’ll join a virtual meet-up with other confirmed families to connect before arrival.
Step 3: Confirm & Prepare for Costa Rica. Secure your spot with a booking payment, and receive onboarding guidance with travel tips, schedules, and group chat access.

What’s included in the co-living experience?
Your stay includes private accommodations, access to property and its amenities, on site concierge and support from the property owner + nomad NestHow does the payment structure work?
Reserve your spot with a deposit. The remaining balance is due 60 days before the start date. If minimum occupancy isn’t met, we’ll refund your deposit in full.Can we customize our experience?
Yes, you’re welcome to join planned activities or explore on your own. Optional excursions, like yoga or cultural tours, as well as a private chef, is available for an additional fee. Please tell us if having fresh meals prepared for your family is something you'd be interested in.How do you select families?
We carefully review each family’s application to build a balanced, supportive group where everyone feels at home.Is there childcare or a school program?
